When designing and processing quartz stone, attention should be paid to:

1、 Quartz stone is generally installed by splicing. When choosing the splicing position, try to avoid corners and furnace openings as much as possible. This is because quartz stone has the characteristics of thermal expansion and contraction. If it is close to the furnace or corners, cracking may occur.

2、 When designing the corner of the countertop, stress concentration should be considered, which can cause cracking at the corner of the countertop. Therefore, during processing, a circular arc angle with a radius of 2.5 centimeters or more should be maintained at the corner;

3、 When designing the opening position of the stove, the distance between the opening position of the countertop and the edge of the countertop should be greater than or equal to 8 centimeters to prevent cracking of the countertop hole position. When opening the stove opening, first use a cutting machine or a curved saw to open the hole, and then use a gong machine or a hand grinder to polish and trim the edge to achieve a smooth effect. The four corners of the circle and the half diameter are basically uniform. Due to the serrated marks and residual cracks around the cut hole caused by the curved saw and cutting machine, it is easy to cause cracking at the opening.

4、 The corner of the opening should maintain a radius of 2.5 centimeters or more, and the four corners must be reinforced with homogeneous board plates. There should be a certain space between the stove and the countertop, with a distance of 0.3-0.6 centimeters. Insulation cloth and tin platinum paper should be added around the opening for thermal protection measures.

5、 When designing countertops, consideration should be given to the limitations of transportation channels such as stairs, elevators, and doors on the size of the countertop, and on-site joints should meet the joint requirements mentioned earlier.

Remember to install quartz stone countertops:

1、 Before installation, it is necessary to check the flatness of the cabinet and whether the size of the quartz stone countertop matches the cabinet perfectly. If there is an error, it is necessary to reprocess the quartz stone countertop or repair the cabinet.

2、 When measuring the depth dimension of the cabinet, a 4cm space needs to be reserved on the countertop for the installation of the bottom hanging edge strip.

3、 When splicing some extra long countertops (such as L-shaped countertops), to ensure the flatness of the splicing countertops and the tightness of the joints, it is recommended to use strong fixing clips (A clip, F clip) to fix the quartz stone board. In addition, when bonding the hanging strip, a strong fixing clip should also be used to secure it, ensuring that the gaps between the tabletop joint and the joint between the tabletop and the hanging strip are combined.

4、 There should be a certain distance (usually 3mm to 5mm) between the quartz stone countertop and the wall. After installation, glass glue should be evenly applied to the gap between the countertop and the wall.

5、 Due to the high hardness and density of quartz stone countertops, there are high requirements for processing technology.
